Job description

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting NAVAIR in the Lakehurst, NJ area. This individual would have
  • technical experience in Navy and/or Naval Aviation systems
  • experience supporting design projects
  • experience using AutoCAD to produce 3D models
  • possess strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • possess strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical and mechanical design tasks as assigned by the project team, including development of drawings, reports and/or technical manuals & documents.
  • Review and incorporate customer furnished information.
  • Conduct site investigations in an industrial environment.
  • Conduct vendor research to obtain technical information and lead time quotes for commercial parts.
  • Participate in design meeting with the project team and customers.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree.
  • Must have 2 to 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook and AutoCAD.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.

Pay: $70,000-$75,000
