Job description

Project Director / Sr. Mechanical Engineering Project Manager
Location: Renton Office
Wage: $135,000 to $150,000
Sr. Mechanical Engineer
The Project Director will be responsible for managing the engineering group in Western WA. Manage, oversee, and coach, all aspects of Apollo Solutions Group's engineering team's efforts in Western Washington, including but not limited to:
• Assist the sales team in client meetings and presentations. Manage the Western Washington Engineering Team for Apollo Solutions Group.
• Provide coaching and mentoring in the engineering team's career development.
• Maintain engineering standards and established practices for performing site assessments, field verification surveys, and mechanical systems design.
• Know how to conduct a client meeting and manage client expectations.
• Create, manage, review, and maintain design standards of all Mechanical Engineering Design performed by the Western WA. engineering group.
• Create, manage, and develop the scope of work, specify mechanical equipment, and design documents for a diverse variety of projects.
• Create, oversee, and manage the budgets for Investment Grade Audits, or Pre-Construction Services proposals, Mechanical Engineering Design Projects.
• Work with Apollo Solutions Group Construction Managers to build the Guaranteed Maximum (GMAX) Construction Costs for all Western WA projects.
• Manage and oversee the engineering team's efforts on all projects in Western WA.
• Review the methodology and inputs used to create the Guaranteed Energy Savings.
• Manage the schedule for the development of all projects in Western WA.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• PE License Required
• 10 to 25 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering Systems Design, Energy Services Performance Contracting, or Energy Retrofit Design Build type work.
