Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Compensation:

$124,000 - $125,000 yearly


Responsibilities:

The Ammonia Engineer will play a key role in the design, operation, and optimization of ammonia refrigeration systems. This position requires a strong technical background, a focus on safety, and the ability to support both new and existing system initiatives. 

System Design & Implementation 

  • Design and develop ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related components 

  • Oversee installation and commissioning of new systems, as well as upgrades to existing equipment 

  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop technical specifications and project proposals 

Technical Support & Training 

  • Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting support to engineers, technicians, and maintenance teams 

  • Lead training sessions on system operation, maintenance, and safety best practices 

  • Assist in improving system efficiency and reliability through continuous evaluation 


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field 
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting 
  • Relevant certifications in ammonia refrigeration are preferred 
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration system components and processes 
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and system analysis software
