SUMMARY

Assist engineers and designers with design tasks to ensure the smooth flow of operations within the engineering department.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to beall-inclusiveand other duties may be assigned:

  • Create engineering 3D models, 2D drawings, and/or electrical schematic preparation using computer aided design software.
  • Create Bills of Material to support production and/or new product development.
  • Create Engineering Change Notice as required to release new or revised models and drawings.
  • Assist with the material selection for engineered parts.
  • Conforms to Standard Operating Procedures, CAD procedures and drafting standards, and department work instructions and policies.

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student working towards an Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or related area for entire duration of internship.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Experience with CATIA or other CAD design software
  • Ability to use and understand linear measurements, Imperial and Metric Systems, and proficient in reading a tape measure and other measuring devices.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written skills

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
