Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support R&D in developing mechanical components for electrical distribution systems, including automatic transfer switches, switchgear, and power control equipment. Role involves 3D solid modeling in Creo/ProE, enhancing existing products, and designing new components to meet performance, reliability, and safety needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Design mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Perform 3D modeling and tolerance analysis.
  • Select materials, parts, and mechanical elements.
  • Test and validate designs.
  • Create layouts, documentation, and specifications; maintain technical files.
  • Improve development procedures.
  • Implement and verify design solutions.
  • Adapt designs for localization needs.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and testing labs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
  • 2+ years' experience in mechanical design/R&D for electrical distribution products.
  • Strong Creo/ProE 3D modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities; ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred: experience with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
