Job description

SIGN ON BONUS up to $7500 for Project Manager with 5+ years of Mechanical Experience (DOE)

W.B. Guimarin & Co., Inc. is hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, customer relationships, billing, forecasting, and field coordination while maintaining safety and profitability goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from startup to completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Prepare monthly billings, schedule of values, and change orders
  • Track labor productivity, committed costs, and project profitability
  • Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, RFCOs, submittals, and purchase orders
  • Lead project planning and preconstruction activities
  • Monitor jobsite safety and support company safety initiatives
  • Complete project closeout documentation including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-builts
  • Maintain strong customer communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in commercial construction
  • HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction experience preferred
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and construction documentation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masterโ€™s degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
