Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a: Field Service Pump Mechanic Helper Schedule: M–F, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM + overtime Starting Rate:$18.00/hr Role Overview A Field Service Pump Mechanic Helper supports journeyman mechanics in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, and control systems at lift stations and wastewater treatment facilities. This is a physical, hands-on position requiring comfort with heavy equipment, outdoor environments, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Core Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance — Assist with greasing, oiling, and performing routine preventative maintenance on submersible, centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps.

Field Support — Help transport, rig, and lift heavy pumps and motors using crane trucks, hoists, and rigging equipment. Site Cleanliness — Clean and maintain pump wet wells, lift stations, and surrounding grounds to prevent clogs, odors, and operational issues.
