Motivated, dependable and safety oriented CDL Driver to test, drive and secure trucks in a safe environment.

What you offer us:

  • Able to lift up to and including 50 pounds
  • DOT qualified position, CDL A driver's license required
  • All procedures to be DOT qualified must be followed
  • Maintain MEC qualification standards
  • Perform testing and Miles accumulation as required
  • Follow the preventative maintenance schedule per the truck manufacturer
  • Follow vehicle inspection/emissions test schedule given per the customer
  • Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports must be completed
  • Must be able to safely get into and out of a truck cab unassisted
  • Daily mileage to be recorded
  • Operator to maintain license or licenses and documents required for applicable State and Federal compliance of Motor Vehicle Laws
  • Maintain customer truck and equipment in an orderly/clean manner
  • Truck should be cleaned/detailed on a regular basis to keep vehicle presentable
  • Expected to work on average a 40-hour work week (approximately 8 hrs/day, M-F)
  • Some overtime might be required on weeknights and weekends (determined by event schedule)

SCHEDULE: 

Mid Shift: 11:00 am- 7:30 pm

Pay: $25.00 /hr

Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug free and pass a drug screen.

TPG is seeking motivated, dependable and safe Class A CDL Drivers to test vehicles and their systems for a worldwide power management company in Marshall, MI. Successful candidates will test drive and evaluate pre-production test vehicles on 'real world' durability test routes/tracks, conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures and document findings on driver reports in a clear and concise manner.

Drivers will be required to observe overall ride, quality and component failure of assigned vehicles on a state of the art test track. This includes engine and transmission, brakes and suspension, durability, EPA mileage accumulation, full vehicle cold testing and cab support (seat) back to the development team.

Drivers will be expected to :

  • Perform driving task in a safe dedicated manner
  • Physically be able to get into and out of a truck cab with proper agility
  • Report to shifts routinely
