Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to establish and grow a comprehensive vascular surgery practice based at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.   The ideal candidate will play a central role in building a high-quality, patient-centered vascular practice that supports both open and endovascular procedures while partnering closely with cardiology, interventional radiology, and primary care teams.  This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a team of top-tier professionals and make a significant impact within the community.

Position Highlights: 

  • Join an Established Team: Collaborate with two excellent-trained Vascular Surgeons and one dedicated Nurse Practitioner.
  • Shared Call Coverage: Call rotation will be shared equally (1:3) and will provide coverage at two BayCare hospitals:
    • Mease Countryside Hospital
    • Morton Plant Hospital
  • Comprehensive Case Exposure: Engage in a diverse range of Vascular Surgery cases, including both open and endovascular procedures.
  • High-Volume, Complex Cases: Tackle challenging cases alongside experienced partners and a highly qualified support team.
  • Strong Referral Base: Benefit from a well-established network of referring physicians, ensuring a steady and consistent case load.
