Job description

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement: Read and interpret engineered drawings
Skills and Abilities Perform duties satisfactorily
Language Requirement Read, speak, and understand English
Licenses or Certifications: None
Physical Requirement: Sitting, standing, hand dexterity, speaking, clear vision and hearing, the ability to lift and carry 75lbs.
Mental Requirement: Ability to follow procedures in an organized fashion
Working Conditions: Field
DUTIES / TASKS
1 Punches in on time and is available for work at the beginning of each workday.
2 Communicates with Coordinator and customer contact to determine route, placement and termination of coaxial and fiber optic cable on customer premises.
3 Loads and maintains necessary equipment and material stocks onto the assigned vehicle.
4 Runs coaxial and fiber optic cable according to Company standards and local building code.
5 Sets backboards, lockboxes, equipment racks, and/or pedestals as necessary.
6 Run EMT, CRM, or other conduits as necessary.
7 Learn to splice coaxial and fiber optic cables.
8 Act as the final Company contact, cleaning up jobsite, noting any deficiencies, and otherwise making sure the customer is content before leaving the job site.
9 Read and check prints.
10 Clean vehicles, equipment and shop.
11 Follow all safety regulations and standards.
12 Notifies supervisor of any unsafe equipment or working conditions.
13 Attends safety meetings as required.
14 Receives an annual performance evaluation of satisfactory or better or a plan is in place to achieve that result.
15 Follows company, customer and OSHA Safety rules and regulations while in field
16 Performs any other duty or assignment as may be assigned, from time to time, by the Supervisor.
