Eklego is proud to be leading the RN Nurse Manager search for The Village at Rockville, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services in Rockville, MD.The Village at Rockville is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization with 160 licensed beds. NLCS is a highly rated skilled nursing operation providing cutting-edge and high-quality health care services for elders in the Rockville community.What will I do as the RN Manager?As the Full-Time Day shift Registered Nurse Manager, you'll be at the heart of a thriving community that values your leadership, trusts your clinical excellence, and celebrates your passion for people. At, NLCS, you'll guide and empower a dedicated nursing team, elevate care standards, and nurture meaningful connections that define what "home" feels like for every resident.Ensure the highest degree of quality resident care is delivered and maintained at all times.Provide strong supervision, performance management, leadership, and coaching for nursing staff.Train and onboard nursing team members, ensuring they understand and uphold NLCS standards of service excellence and nursing practice.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify opportunities to improve resident care and implement appropriate changes.Monitor staffing, unit activities, and acuity; work with the Staffing Coordinator, ADON, and Care Coaches to ensure safe and appropriate coverage.Conduct regular rounds on assigned units to monitor resident activity, care quality, and overall environment, including rotating weekends and holidays.Verify care activity and documentation to ensure nursing care is provided according to physician orders, care plans, standards, and facility policies.Ensure safe, accurate medication administration consistent with nursing standards and NLCS procedures.Review and support accurate completion of resident assessments, MDS, and individualized plans of care; participate in and/or direct care plan conferences.Review and maintain infection control, wound, lab, and related logs to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.Help oversee department-related reporting, including licensure, education, and attendance compliance, in coordination with HR/payroll and leadership.Qualifications:Current RN license in the State of MarylandCPR and First Aid certifications required.Knowledge, experience, and proficiency with COMAR, Office of Health Care Quality, and CMS guidelines a plus.Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Licensed/Registered Nurse scope of practice.Experience in geriatric and/or subacute nursing, including medication and treatment administration, and unit and/or house supervision.Experience with computer-based electronic medical records required.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.Ability to partner, communicate, coach, and counsel direct report team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Why Choose Eklego?As a Nursing professional, your skills are highly sought after, and you have many options.
