Raytheon is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant / Sr. Coordinator to support senior leadership within the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Program, part of the Shipboard Missiles organization within Naval Power. SM-3 is a critical element of the nation's sea-based ballistic missile defense capability, supporting the U.S. Navy, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and our international partners. This position plays an important role in enabling the SM-3 leadership team and broader program organization to execute that mission effectively.

The successful candidate will support multiple SM-3 senior leaders, manage complex calendars and operating rhythms, coordinate customer and leadership engagements, orchestrate meetings and events, and help maintain the information flow and organizational discipline necessary to operate a large, complex program.

**This is an onsite position at our Tucson, AZ facility.

**Relocation assistance is NOT available.

Will You Will Do: 

  • Enable the SM-3 leadership team. Manage complex executive calendars, priorities, and commitments across the SM-3 organization; anticipate conflicts, identify competing priorities, and proactively coordinate solutions.
  • Coordinate the SM-3 operating rhythm. Support recurring program reviews, leadership meetings, customer engagements, staff meetings, all-hands events, and other key program activities across SM-3 Block IB and Block IIA.
  • Drive executive communications and information flow. Triage correspondence, identify priority actions, coordinate responses, and help ensure timely and accurate communication between SM-3 leadership, program teams, functional organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Orchestrate customer and stakeholder engagements. Coordinate meetings and visits involving the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), U.S. Navy, Raytheon and RTX leadership, Shipboard Missiles leadership, functional organizations, suppliers, and other program stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute meetings and events. Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings, including scheduling, agendas, speakers, conference rooms, Teams/Zoom, catering, A/V support, visitor coordination, meeting materials, and action tracking.
  • Connect the SM-3 administrative network. Partner with administrative professionals across SM-3, Shipboard Missiles, Naval Power, functional organizations, and customer-facing teams to improve coordination and execution across organizational boundaries and multiple locations.
  • Prepare executive-level materials. Develop, coordinate, format, and proofread agendas, correspondence, briefings, presentations, spreadsheets, organizational charts, and other leadership materials.
  • Manage travel and expenses. Coordinate domestic and international travel, including airfare, lodging, transportation, itineraries, required documentation, and timely processing of expense reports and invoices.
  • Maintain program information and digital workspaces. Help manage distribution lists, shared files, Teams channels, organizational charts, program sites, leadership materials, and other shared resources to ensure information remains accurate, organized, accessible, and current.
  • Deliver operational excellence. Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, responsiveness, sound judgment, attention to detail, and independent follow-through while operating in a dynamic and mission-focused environment.
  • This role requires exceptional professionalism, discretion, responsiveness, organization, and the ability to anticipate needs and independently drive actions to closure in a fast-paced program environment
  • Minimal domestic travel may be required, up to approximately 10%.


What You Will Learn:

  • The SM-3 mission and program portfolio, including SM-3 Block IB and Block IIA.
  • Raytheon's partnership with the Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Navy in delivering sea-based ballistic missile defense capability.
  • The structure and operation of the SM-3 Program Office, Shipboard Missiles, Naval Power, Raytheon, and RTX.
  • How major defense programs integrate Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, Quality, Mission Assurance, and other functions to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience supporting C-Suite/Senior Leaders
  • Prior experience managing multiple priorities, schedules, and stakeholders


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
  • Experience supporting multiple senior or executive leaders.
  • Experience supporting a large, complex program or organization with multiple functions, locations, and stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating senior leadership, government customer, or executive-level meetings and engagements.
  • Experience booking domestic and international travel and processing expense reports using Concur.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and collaborative digital workspaces.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other productivity tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate leadership needs, operate independently, and drive actions to completion.
  • Experience within Raytheon, RTX, the aerospace and defense industry, or a government program environment is preferred.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
