Summary:
Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Executive Administrative Assistance (Advanced) must
have experience supporting members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag
Officer equivalent. Will be capable of providing executive level, and/or general
administrative support in all facets of administration. Ability to work independently and
have experience with DoD support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

โ€ข Executive Level Correspondence Support
โ€ข Executive Level Correspondence Management and Staff Action Support
โ€ข Executive Level Meeting Support
โ€ข Executive Level Meeting Attendance
โ€ข Support in Communicating Policy and Guidance
โ€ข Monitor Training and Education
โ€ข Command Suite Receptionist
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, and Licensure
โ€ข BA/BS and 6 years' experience in administrative/business field o Acceptable
substitute: AA and 8 years' experience in administrative/business field
โ€ข 3 years' experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive
Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
โ€ข 6 years' executing and leading tasks associated with senior executive level,
and/or general administrative support in all facets of administration.
โ€ข Expert preparing, reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
โ€ข Expert in Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), For Official Use Only
(FOUO), and Classified information handling programs and procedures.
โ€ข Expert in government records and database management process and
procedures.
โ€ข Expert in government travel processes and systems.
โ€ข Expert in developing and maintaining administrative schedules including
electronic schedules and calendars.
โ€ข Expert developing, supporting and delivering senior executive correspondence,
such as decision memos, read aheads, daily updates, meeting minutes, metrics
and Ad-Hoc reports.
โ€ข Expert in government task management systems.
โ€ข Proficient in researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials
(e.g. briefings, papers, read- ahead).
โ€ข Proficient working with government time-management procedures and systems.
โ€ข Expert in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and
PowerPoint.
โ€ข Excellent communication skills to include phone, office etiquette, and written
skills.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret
clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Additional Qualifying Factors:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a
satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of
identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
