Job description

Job Summary

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center located in Northeast Florida is actively seeking a Medical Oncologist to support the growth of our multidisciplinary Melanoma/Sarcoma Oncology Program.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a commitment to a multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care, including participation in quality management and research programs.
  • Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and research missions of the program, including developing standard protocols for patient care and improving quality metrics.
  • Maintain a successful record in melanoma and/or sarcoma oncology; graduating fellows may be considered based on demonstrated commitment and scholarly record.
  • Serve in additional leadership roles within the Cancer Medicine division, including quality and research programs.
  • Be recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston) commensurate with experience and academic accomplishment.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with Medical Oncology Training and/or Experience.
  • Unrestricted Florida Medical License.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License.
