Job description

Job Title: IT Manager

Location: US-FL-Jacksonville

Overview:

The IT Manager will manage and organize the information technology department to provide support for the use of all information technologies, communications, and electronic security systems in use at the Jacksonville site, as well as evaluate and recommend necessary upgrades and improvements to said systems. In addition, this position is responsible for all aspects of Cybersecurity in the Jacksonville site.

Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and monitor all cybersecurity technologies
  • Create new or modify existing MFG/PRO reports
  • Maximize performance of MFG/PRO through the use of various software and hardware tools
  • Configure new devices as required
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance performance of site security systems
  • Facilitate data/telecom network infrastructure improvements
  • Manage and maintain operating systems such as Windows and Cisco with knowledge of programming languages
  • Other IT requirements as needed and assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in CIS, IT, Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience
  • 10-15 years experience in related IT field
  • Strong background with computers of various types and sizes from personal computers to servers
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages (VB, C#, Java) and databases (SQL)
  • Knowledge of networks (Cisco)
  • Strong oral communications
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MSCD) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) a plus
