Job description


Responsibilities:
  • Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure.
  • Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and expectations along with desired results.
  • Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts.
  • Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
  • Continues to develop professionally through continuing education programs and in-services.
  • Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
  • Primary Responsibilities include performance of the following procedures: Adult Echocardiography, Stress/Echo tests. Additional responsibilities include maintaining work logs, providing preliminary reports, and working closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program
