Job description

MCI is North America's public and private market motor coach leader. Products include the luxury J-Series (an industry best-seller for over a decade), the workhorse D-Series, and the brand new zero-emission luxury and commuter coaches: the battery-electric J4500 CHARGE™ and MCI D45 CRT LE CHARGE™. MCI also provides maintenance, repair, 24-hour roadside assistance, parts, and technician training through the industry's only Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) accredited MCI Academy. POSITION SUMMARY
Primary point of customer contact for service at MCI. Greets customers on arrival and ensures customer is comfortable. Prepares repair order for in-processing of coach. Ensures customer is informed at all times as to repair status of coach by communicating the estimate of charges, changes needed to repair order, closes repair order and delivers completed coach to customer. Also attempts to up-sell where possible. Administers warranty claims.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Greets customer and process check-in paperwork ensuring customer is comfortable at all times.
  • Communicates with the customer, in person or on the phone, on status of estimate, changes and up-selling.
  • Opens, changes and closes repair orders.
  • Administers and determine warranty claims. Advises customers.
  • Formalizes all estimates from the shop for presentation to the customer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • 5 years service operations and customer service preferably in automobile dealership in a service writer role.
  • Strong organizational and PC skills.
  • Basic knowledge of motor coach repair.
  • High School diploma required.
