Summary
Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

What to Expect:
  • Performs custodial services across multiple Onslow Beach outdoor amenities including beach access points, bath houses, pavilions, gazebos, dog parks, and designated roadside areas assigned.
  • Restocks toilet paper, sanitary bags, soap, deodorizers, urinal screens, detergents, dryer sheets, and other supplies as needed.
  • Regularly collects and removes trash, litter, and debris from outdoor locations across Onslow Beach, including parking areas, beach access points, roadside pull-offs, pavilions, shaded structures, and recreational spaces.
  • Inspects facilities and equipment for leaks, damage, or safety hazards and promptly reports issues to maintenance or management.
  • Exerts moderately heavy physical effort in controlling heavy equipment, carrying and setting up ladders and scaffolds and working from ladders and scaffolds.
  • Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
  • Other similiar custodial duties may be assigned.

What are we looking for?
  • Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work safely while moving lightweight objects.
  • Ability to use powered equipment and perform minor maintenance on this equipment.
  • Ability to learn Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
