Position Summary

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Front of House Utility(Runner) position will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment by providing support to the restaurant staff at McCormick Place Convention Center.ย 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $28.01 (per CBA).


Benefits as per the union agreement.

This position will remain open until July 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

Runner/Restocker

  • Pick up and transport of Hot/Cold food products from warehouse to designated restaurant locations.
  • Setting tables and chairs, moving concession carts and helping stock carts with paper and food products
  • Store all equipment in proper storage areas.
  • Stock and Restock food shelves and coolers and ensure accuracy of items placed and labels facing forward
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Educational Requirement

  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have sufficient math ability to accurately add, subtract, divide, multiply and perform other basic business math calculations and pass basic math skills test.
  • Must speak, be able to read and understand English well enough to converse with customers,

  • Understand written and oral direction and communicate effectively with others.
