Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Team Manager, manages and directs all activities and processes related to the daily management of predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance programs to improve process reliability (PR) while reducing maintenance costs. The incumbent will maintain packaging, blending and fermentation equipment in multiple departments and is responsible for the complete maintenance and inspection on individual pieces of equipment. This position will also support the core reliability processes (Autonomous Maintenance, Early Equipment Management, Training and Focused Improvement.)
Responsabilities: 

  • Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on electronic devices, production equipment, and facilities equipment.  Writes preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Responds to trouble calls on production/process equipment, utility breakdowns, and work orders
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve problems, ability to diagnose mechanical problems and resolve minor mechanical and processing problems
  • Demonstrated ability to perform changeovers and preventative maintenance on all production equipment
  • Works with outside contractors to perform miscellaneous installations, and interacts with outside technical support
  • Knowledge of CMMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool
  • Able to read drawings, manuals, and schematics to properly troubleshoot equipment.  
  • Recommends equipment and control modifications and other changes to improve productivity.  Updates drawings and schematics to reflect "as-built" conditions.
