Overview

The Masonry Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial masonry projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

What You'll Do
  • Manage commercial masonry projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Partner with Masonry Superintendents and Foremen to ensure successful field execution and labor performance.
  • Monitor project costs, manpower utilization, productivity, quality, and schedule compliance.
  • Manage change orders, material procurement, risk mitigation, and project challenges.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings, project planning sessions, and client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders.
  • Support estimating, project buyout, and project handoff activities.
  • Keep company leadership informed of project progress, financial performance, and client relations.
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and project team members.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing commercial masonry, restoration, concrete, or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of masonry construction methods, materials, labor productivity, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience managing project financials, procurement, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
