Position Overview:

The Central Supply Clerk maintains accurate inventory of all items located in central supply and in each nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and fill supply requisitions and deliver to the unit.

  • With supervisorโ€™s approval, order supplies from designated vendors.

  • Receive supply shipments and route packing slips to appropriate department heads. Maintain an organized and neat storage area.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind and professional workplace behavior and customer services to all residents, care team members, vendors, visitors and family members at all times.

  • Attends all mandatory in-services; and completes timely all necessary Relias trainings scheduled to perform.

  • Keeps abreast and/or discusses with supervisor or manager all necessary policies, procedures and business practices within the scope of the position held to effectively perform all duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • One year experience in shipping and receiving.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
