About the team:The E-commerce Strategy team for TikTok Shop plays a critical role in setting direction and accelerating growth of the US market. The team operates at the center of global strategy planning, research and analysis, partnering closely with regional and industry leaders to identify market opportunity, determine operation directions and set key team targets. We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic thinker to partner with a fast-growing global e-commerce business. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and operations, and will play a key role in driving business growth through insights and execution.We are looking for talented individuals to join our team.   • Support the development and maintenance of core business performance and ROI tracking systems based on business strategy and operating goals, and under the guidance of team leaders, derive operational insights from business data to provide quantitative support and strategic recommendations for growth, resource allocation, and operating optimization.

  • Apply data analytics tools and business analysis methodologies to support the development and iteration of models for market sizing, business efficiency, and return on investment, helping the business identify efficient and high-quality growth paths and resource allocation approaches.

  • Develop a deep understanding of business logic and resource management mechanisms, and combine business performance with ROI data to proactively identify pain points and potential opportunities, supporting the development of actionable optimization solutions across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.

  • Track resource input and output performance on an ongoing basis, identify key drivers, and support resource efficiency evaluation, strategy optimization, and business decision-making to enable more effective and disciplined allocation.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams on priority initiatives, supporting alignment building, meeting coordination, action tracking, and project execution to help translate strategic insights into actionable business plans.


Qualifications

  • Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a MBA degree.

  • Fluent in English as a working language, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to support efficient cross-border and cross-regional collaboration.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL;

  • Strong data sensitivity, business acumen, and structured thinking, with the ability to identify key issues from complex business signals and datasets and form independent judgments.

  • Excellent learning ability, logical thinking, and communication skills, with an international perspective, strong ownership, and the ability to proactively drive work execution in a complex environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or project experience in consulting, PE/VC, e-commerce platforms, business analysis, strategy and operations, or data analytics.

  • Strong interest to AI technologies and their applications in strategic research, business analysis, and business management. Proactive in utilizing AI tools to improve efficiency in information synthesis, data analysis, insight extraction, and solution output, with the ability to independently judge and validate results.

  • Experience with Python or other analytical tools is a plus.


Job Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $143640 annually.


Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.


Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
