Job description

  • Serve as day-to-day product manager for Olin's full-time MBA
  • Maintain MBA value proposition, market positioning, and candidate-facing messaging
  • Strategize competitor positioning, scholarship practices, and program changes
  • Maintain lost-reason analysis and provide market and candidate intelligence
  • Shape the entering class toward enrollment and class profile goals
  • Prepare recruitment inputs for class profile reporting and rankings submissions
  • Develop and maintain domestic recruitment strategy across feeder institutions, metropolitan markets, employers, and channel organizations
  • Build relationships with pre-business advisors, career services offices, and feeder-institution faculty
  • Cultivate employer and corporate talent relationships and represent Olin at employer-hosted recruitment events
  • Measure market and channel performance by cost per qualified inquiry and cost per deposit
  • Manage an individual domestic candidate pipeline from inquiry through deposit and matriculation
  • Conduct candidate conversations, program presentations, information sessions, and evaluative interviews in person and virtually
  • Conduct admit, waitlist, and melt-prevention outreach
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Slate
  • Represent Olin at recruitment fairs, campus visits, employer sites, and metropolitan-market events
  • Supervise and coach the Assistant Director of SMP & Domestic Recruitment and Associate Director of Veterans Recruitment
  • Assign domestic circuits and channel responsibilities and provide performance input and development planning
  • Partner with Admissions Operations, Strategic Insights, Marketing & Communications, faculty, students, alumni, and external recruitment organizations
  • Manage relationships with Forté, The Consortium, MLT, and ROMBA
  • Build and deploy an alumni volunteer network
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in recruiting, sales and marketing, business development, or corporate relations
  • Ability to personally carry and achieve a recruitment, admissions, or sales target
  • Experience representing a complex program in plain language to candidates
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with Business Tourism, CollegeNET, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, customer service, multitasking, time management, work efficiency, and working independently
  • A driver's license is not required
  • No specific certification/professional license is required
