Overview

CTIS, Inc. is seeking a high-performing NIH Business Development Lead with a proven network across NIH leadership and the skills to drive long-term business development goals. The ideal candidate brings deep NIH domain expertise, a strong capture background, and the ability to build and sustain strategic relationships.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with corporate teams and SMEs to identify and pursue strategic relationships withNIH customers, partners, and existing clients. Develop, analyze, and implement BD and marketing programs; adjust strategy and tactics tomaximize effectiveness. Lead capture activities, develop collateral, and support proposal responses and clientpositioning strategies. Identify, qualify, and support closure of new business opportunities in partnership withbusiness and capture teams. Maintain a robust pipeline through direct and indirect customer engagement; identify cross-selling opportunities. Serve as a thought leader at industry events and conferences, articulating CTIS'sdifferentiated capabilities. Lead pursuits and provide oversight in proposal development. Drive call plans, value propositions, price-to-win strategies, and GWAC/Growth Operations(data, metrics, budget, compliance). Leverage and expand a pre-existing network of NIH clients and marketplace contacts. Build competitive teams through knowledge of the teaming landscape

QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with 12+ years of progressive leadership experience. 10+ years of direct NIH work and/or contracting experience with in-depth agencyunderstanding. Proven BD, capture, and proposal leadership track record. Demonstrable ability to leverage a pre-existing network of clients and contacts. Working knowledge of competitive and teaming landscape; proven ability to assemblecompetitive teams. Expertise in driving call plans and developing value propositions. Working knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, Digital Transformation, and related solutions. Proven ability to make compelling and persuasive presentations. Excellent client service and communication skills. Proactive, positive, and confident approach backed by tenacity and commitment. Knowledge of TechnoMile is a plus.
