Global Sales & Marketing Director
Specialty Gas Delivery Systems
On-site in Phoenix, AZ
Target salary: $200,000
We are seeking a Global Sales & Marketing Director to lead worldwide commercial strategy for advanced semiconductor gas delivery equipment, including specialty gas, bulk gas, and precursor delivery systems. This executive leadership role drives global sales growth, strategic marketing, channel development, pricing strategy, customer engagement, and product commercialization while partnering with engineering and product management to accelerate scalable platform-based solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
Global Commercial Leadership
  • Develop and execute the global commercial strategy to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, and improve profitability across specialty gas, bulk gas, and precursor delivery equipment portfolios.
  • Lead global direct sales organizations and channel partners while ensuring forecast accuracy, operational excellence, and scalable commercial processes.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with leading semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs, and strategic technology partners.
  • Develop multi-year strategic account plans aligned with customer technology roadmaps and semiconductor capital investment cycles.
  • Implement value-based pricing strategies and commercial governance to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Establish and optimize CRM, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial operating processes using industry best practices.
Marketing Strategy & Market Intelligence
  • Lead global marketing initiatives supporting semiconductor equipment markets, product positioning, demand generation, and commercial growth.
  • Represent the organization at semiconductor industry conferences, customer forums, and technical events.
  • Monitor competitive technologies, semiconductor market trends, government investment initiatives, and emerging manufacturing opportunities.
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities in advanced packaging, AI infrastructure, leading-edge semiconductor fabs, specialty semiconductor manufacturing, and regional expansion markets.
  • Develop long-range market assessments using semiconductor technology roadmaps, customer requirements, and manufacturing investment trends.
Product Strategy & Commercialization
  • Partner with Product Management to drive product portfolio optimization, platform standardization, lifecycle management, and commercialization strategies.
  • Ensure commercial readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives through launch planning, pricing strategy, channel enablement, sales training, and value messaging.
  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison between customers, engineering, operations, and product management to translate customer requirements into differentiated products and scalable solutions.
  • Establish Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, including executive customer councils, customer satisfaction initiatives, strategic account reviews, and win/loss analysis to guide future product development.
Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global commercial organization focused on customer success, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define organizational structure, succession planning, talent development strategies, and capability requirements to support long-term business growth.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading global commercial organizations with responsibility for annual revenue exceeding $50M.
  • Proven success developing and scaling global sales organizations while delivering sustained revenue growth and improving forecast accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, specialty gas delivery systems, bulk gas infrastructure, and precursor delivery equipment.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor capital equipment markets and working with major global semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Deep expertise in strategic marketing, market intelligence, customer segmentation, value-based product positioning, and commercial strategy.
  • Experience leading business transformation, commercial scaling initiatives, or organizational growth programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into operational execution through measurable KPIs and commercial processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience supporting platform-based product strategies within semiconductor capital equipment markets.
  • Knowledge of advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies, including advanced packaging, AI infrastructure, and emerging fabrication technologies.
  • Experience leading global Voice of Customer (VOC) programs and executive customer engagement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor technology roadmaps, manufacturing investment trends, and regional market expansion strategies.
