This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager - Business Administration II to join our team within the Business Operations Organization. This role will lead large-scale enterprise programs and projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and aligning with organizational strategic goals. In this role, you will develop, and manage initiatives that streamline business processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall effectiveness across operations.

This role requires expertise in managing complex, cross-functional programs that are impactful, measurable, and tightly aligned with priorities, ensuring the role delivers significant value. You will work closely with leadership and stakeholders across other organizations or departments to drive operational improvements, manage budgets, and ensure successful program execution.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and management of large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs.
  • Define program objectives, deliverables, risks, and success metrics to ensure alignment with operations strategy and company goals.
  • Identify potential risks to program success, including resource gaps, timeline delays, or budgetary constraints.
  • Identify and manage complex dependencies within the program as well as across other projects in the organization.
  • Manage the program execution, risks, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in current processes and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Act as key liaison between operational teams and corporate leadership to ensure program objectives are met.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on program objectives and priorities.
  • Facilitate regular updates, and reviews to communicate progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Project Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program and Project Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain business operations.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, enterprise-wide programs with measurable impact on operational efficiency and strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in project and program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira Confluence).
  • Advanced skills in presentation and visualization tools.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex business processes.
  • Skilled at gathering information, managing resources, and driving results.
  • Ability to connect operational details to broader business goals.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of program and project management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills capable of conveying complex risks, issues, or challenges of programs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or PMP Certification.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
