Based on course content, wages will range from $1,297.00 per credit to $3,753.00 per credit.

In certain instances, due to low enrollment, faculty payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.

Job Description:

  • Teach a variety of courses in Accounting depending on the candidate's area of expertise. (Principles of Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Accounting)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • For the following courses: ACC 1001, 1002, 1025, 1032, 1033, 1035, 1038, 1075, 2011, 2012, 2026, 2031, 2065, 2068, 2075, 2089:

  • Bachelor's degree inaccounting, business administration, or business education plus 2,000 hours of relevant industry experience in the last seven years OR

  • Associate of applied science degree inaccountingor business plus 4,000 hours of experience in theaccountingfield. Experience older than seven years will be considered if the candidate has been continuously teaching in the content area since that time.

  • For the following courses: ACC 1011, 1012, 1021, 1022:

  • Master's degree inaccountingor business administration plus 2,000 hours of relevant industry experience in the last seven years OR

  • Bachelor's degree inaccountingor business administration or business education plus 4,000 hours of relevant industry experience in the last seven years. Experience older than seven years will be considered if the candidate has been continuously teaching in the content area since that time.

  • Master's degree in math or statistics plus 2,000 hours of relevant industry experience within the last seven years OR
