Job description

Certified Floater Pharmacy Technician

Community Health Pharmacy (operated by VytlOne), a mail order pharmacy located in Colchester, VT and outpatient pharmacy in Burlington, VT, is currently accepting applications for Full Time Certified Floater Pharmacy Technicians. Hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. This opportunity offers a great work environment, along with competitive wages and excellent benefits.

The Community Health Pharmacy is owned by five of Vermont's community health centers. By filling your prescriptions with this pharmacy, you will be supporting the mission and vision of our health centers to deliver quality, affordable medical care to the community. The pharmacy offers a full range of prescription and over-the-counter medications for all CHCB patients.

The estimated compensation for this role is $25-27 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
  • Provide friendly and cooperative customer service.
  • Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.
  • Flexibility to travel to other 2 locations in VT based on business needs located in Lamoille and Burlington.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
  • Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required.
  • Must be able to operate various computer systems. Ability to work effectively with co-workers as a team member.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, required
  • Vermont Pharmacy Technician registration is required
  • PTCB National Certification required OR must obtain within 6 months of hire. (Maxor will assist in obtaining PTCB)
  • Willing to float between Community Health Pharmacy and Community Health Centers Pharmacy

Qualifications:

  • At least 1+ years' experience in retail pharmacy is required
  • Excellent customer service skills
