Manufacturing Solution Architect Industry 4.0 & OT/IT Integration -Local to either of three places -San Antonio, TX ,Lexington, KY ,Evansville, In - Ability to go to the work location 3 days/week + Once in a Month Travel within USA

Requisition Name: Manufacturing Solution Architect Industry 4.0 & OT/IT Integration

Duration: 31 Weeks

Services Location: TX/Dallas

Description Of Services:
?The ideal candidate will have been a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect, preferably in Manufacturing and deep knowledge of manufacturing operations, industrial automation, machine reliability and enterprise systems integration (such as MES, ERP, PLM, Maximo and SCADA).

Preferred Certifications:

  • TOGAF, ArchiMate, or other architecture frameworks.
  • Certifications in MES or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP PP/ME, Rockwell, Siemens).
  • PMP or Agile project management certifications.
  • Specific AWS or Azure Solution Architecture Certifications

Additions Beneficial Qualifications:

  • If you have Developed & deployed Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Enterprise solutions integrating Equipment Data collection / Sensors (Heat, Vibration, Cycle times), Machine Learning / AI models, Mobile application, notifications, and integrations.
  • Lead regular reviews of the portfolio(s) to identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of stability, performance, and complexity reduction
  • Hands-on Application Development experience.

Deliverables:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and IT teams to define solution requirements aligned with manufacturing strategy. Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions integrating shop floor systems (e.g., MES, SCADA) with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, PLM, QMS). Lead solution design for smart factory initiatives, including IoT, data analytics, and digital twin technologies. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and vendors for manufacturing systems. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecyclesfrom conceptual design to implementation, with active leadership in daily operations by being embedded in a Solution Pillar, attending daily, weekly and sprint team ceremonies Support process mapping, gap analysis, and system configuration in coordination with cross-functional teams. Create and maintain architectural documentation including system blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns. Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution design and delivery. Stay current with trends in Industry 4.0, manufacturing technologies, and digital transformation.
