โ€ข Experience with Data Stage and ETL design
Technical
โ€ข Requirement gathering , converting business requirements to technical specs to profile
โ€ข Worked hands on in minimum 2 projects with data stage
โ€ข Understand the process of developing an etl design that support multiple datastage developers
โ€ข Be able to create an etl design framework and related specifications for use by etl developers
โ€ข Define standards and best practices of Data Stage etl to be followed by all data stage developers
โ€ข Understanding of Data Warehouse, Data marts concepts and implementation experience
โ€ข Be able to look at code produced to insure conformance with developed ETL framework and design for reuse
โ€ข Preferable experienced user level comptency in IBM's metadata product, datastage and Infosphere product line
โ€ข Be able to design etl for oracle or sql server or any db
โ€ข Good analytical skills and process design
โ€ข Insuring compliance to quality standards, and delivery timelines.
