Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Maximo Developer position for our client.

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6 months

Duties:

  • Develop, configure, customize, and support solutions within IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) and Maximo 7.6.x environments.
  • Support Maximo upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Maximo integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications and functionality using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Create, modify, and support BIRT reports.
  • Work with Oracle 19c+ databases to support Maximo applications and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and system issues and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Support testing, deployment, documentation, and production implementation activities.
  • Work onsite with cross-functional teams and stakeholders as required.

Skills:

  • Strong experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9).
  • Hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6.x environments.
  • Proven experience supporting Maximo upgrades.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience developing and maintaining BIRT reports.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
  • Experience with Oracle 19c or higher.
  • Familiarity with Liberty, Eclipse, and PuTTY.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with UI automation frameworks is a plus.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated professional experience developing and supporting IBM Maximo applications.
  • Experience working with both Maximo 7.6.x and Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9).
  • Experience performing or supporting Maximo upgrades and migrations.
  • Experience with enterprise application development, integrations, reporting, and database technologies.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional development environments.
  • Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain is highly desirable.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
