Maximo Functional Data Migration Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Functional Data Consultant who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments. In this role, you will evaluate and translate business processes related to Work Management in the Utilities sector, using IBM Maximo to map, integrate, and validate data across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and define business use cases for datasets used within enterprise asset management applications.
• Map data from external systems into IBM Maximo, ensuring alignment with business processes and functional requirements.
• Prepare for and facilitate workshops, with guidance from senior team members as needed.
• Work closely with technical teams and developers to support data mapping, unit test data loads, and validate migrated data.
• Create representative sample datasets for training and testing.
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing (SIT), document results, and communicate issues to the development team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, particularly Work Management processes and underlying datasets
• Experience working within the Utilities industry
• Solid understanding of relational databases, with basic to intermediate SQL querying skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative, work independently with clients, and deliver tasks with minimal supervision
• A strong desire to learn and grow within the role
• Travel is expected up to 50% to the client site
