Job description

Virginia Eagle Distributing (VED) is one of Virginia's leading beverage distributors. We're looking for an outgoing, sociable Brand Ambassador to represent our brands at bars and restaurants in the Charlottesville area - engaging patrons, building brand visibility, and creating buzz during peak hours.
This is a part-time, hourly role, well suited to college students or anyone with a flexible schedule and a strong social presence. You'll gain hands-on marketing and brand representation experience while helping grow VED's presence in the local market. Evening and weekend availability is required, since this role centers on peak bar and restaurant hours.
What You'll Do
  • Engage with bar and restaurant patrons to promote VED's brands, discussing product features and benefits in a professional, approachable manner
  • Travel to and attend assigned bars and restaurants within the Charlottesville area during peak hours to maximize brand exposure
  • Leverage your personal social media presence to enhance brand visibility; create and share pre-approved content that resonates with our target audience
  • Complete required training on brand knowledge, marketing, and legal compliance, including age verification and responsible consumption guidelines
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights to help the brand stay competitive
  • Gather customer feedback and relay insights to the marketing team to inform future strategies and campaigns
  • Develop and maintain a complete working knowledge of all assigned brands
  • Follow all Accounting department expense report procedures

What We're Looking For
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging a diverse audience in a lively bar/restaurant environment
  • Ability to travel to and from different locations within the Charlottesville area
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and nights
  • Previous experience in marketing or brand promotion preferred
  • Strong social media presence with experience in content creation and engagement preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing
  • Basic math and computer skills

What We Offer
  • $20.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications at time of offer
