Maven is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager (Payments and Reconciliation) to lead the end-to-end financial operations and reconciliation framework for our client-funded benefit programs. Reporting into the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, you will move beyond simple oversight to architect a robust, scalable payment integrity program. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of benefit funding, from accurate invoicing and money movement oversight to complex account reconciliation, while partnering with Product/Engineering to build automated financial controls that ensure operational excellence at scale.
As a Revenue Operations Manager (Payments and Reconciliation) at Maven, you will:
  • Oversee the end-to-end movement of benefit funds through Maven's payments infrastructure, ensuring transaction accuracy, timely disbursement, and integrity across the full funding pipeline.
  • Own client invoicing for benefit funding programs and the timely reconciliation of complex claims bank account transactions and balances to ensure high-integrity financial operations.
  • Monitor clinic and provider payments against contracted timeliness standards, identify systemic delays or SLA gaps, and partner with operations to resolve root causes.
  • Manage Maven's floated benefit funding program, including tracking outstanding float balances, driving timely recoupment from clients, and escalating aging exposure to Finance.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause analyses on financial discrepancies to implement structural solutions that prevent billing errors and optimize cash flow.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the benefit funding function.
  • Partner with Finance during the month-end close process, including supporting the preparation of detailed reconciliations, owning reporting deliverables and assisting with analyses around collections risk.
  • Act as the financial subject matter expert for Client Success, equipping CSMs with detailed reconciliation insights and structural solutions to resolve billing disputes and optimize the client funding experience.
  • Act as the business owner for funding tools, collaborating with Product and Engineering to design application enhancements, resolve bugs, and automate financial workflows.
  • Establish and uphold strong internal controls and accountability standards to support audit readiness and financial compliance.

We're looking for you to bring:
  • 6+ years in revenue cycle management, financial analysis, or payment operations, with direct experience in benefit funding, claims banking, or healthcare payment operations strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated readiness to lead a team, with experience mentoring junior staff, managing cross-functional workstreams, or standing in for a manager.
  • Extensive experience in account reconciliation and using AI (e.g. Claude) and data tools (e.g., Looker) to identify financial patterns and drive business decisions.
  • A proven track record of "creating order from chaos" by building sophisticated financial processes in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience partnering with Product/Engineering to resolve bugs and build automated financial fail-safes.
  • Proficiency in Asana, Jira, and Looker to manage financial workflows, track technical tasks, and report on program health.

The base salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
At Maven we believe that a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences enrich our teams and allow us to achieve above and beyond our goals. If you do not have experience in all of the areas detailed above, we hope that you will share your unique background with us in your application and how it can be additive to our teams.
