Why This Role

This position offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in Arizona workers' compensation law while learning directly from experienced trial lawyers. The Intake Attorney will gain hands-on experience, professional development, and mentorship from the firm's founding and managing partner, Matt Fendon.

This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful work, practical courtroom exposure, and a clear path toward managing a full caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective clients, conduct intake appointments, and help them understand their legal rights.
  • Clearly communicate the firm's value, process, and approach to client service.
  • Assign new matters to experienced attorneys and ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Perform legal research and assist with case preparation.
  • Attend depositions with current clients.
  • Cover hearings for case-carrying attorneys.
  • Draft correspondence and legal pleadings.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
  • Attend marketing and networking events to help grow the firm's presence.

Qualifications

  • Licensed attorney, or law graduate awaiting bar admission, who is eager to expand legal knowledge.

  • Salary: $90,000 per year.
