Location: New York. We're open to candidates across the U.S. ready to relocate!
Are you a math education leader who wants to transform how math is taught in the classroom and see students become passionate about learning? Do you want to be part of a leading team that works closely with teachers in California to prepare students for the future? If so, read on .
About Innovamat
We're a fast-growing global EdTech startup with 300+ teammates across 10 countries, building a new generation of math education grounded in research, teacher empowerment, and real classroom impact. Today, our programs are trusted by 27,000+ teachers across 2,600+ schools, reaching over 600,000 students worldwide - and we're just getting started.
Headquartered in Barcelona, with a growing U.S. presence across New York, California, Texas and beyond, we're now entering a pivotal stage of expansion. Our network is already active in multiple states, and growing every month.
Backed by leading thinkers like Peter Liljedahl (Building Thinking Classrooms), we sit at the intersection of learning science, product innovation, and execution.
We operate with a true startup mindset - we move fast, take ownership, experiment constantly, and are deeply driven by the impact we create for teachers and students.
This is a unique opportunity to join early in our U.S. journey, take real ownership, and help build something meaningful from the ground up.
You Are Ready To
  • Play a pivotal role in scaling Innovamat in the U.S. as a true builder and pioneer
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving meaningful classroom impact
  • Partner with schools and districts to ensure successful adoption and long-term success
  • Become the trusted math expert for school leaders and teachers
  • Lead strategic conversations with schools to define success plans and next steps
  • Navigate early-stage ambiguity and go the extra mile as part of a high-performing, ambitious team

What You Will Do
  • Be the Math Success specialist - not just supporting implementation, but transforming how teachers think about and teach math
  • Design and deliver personalized Professional Development (PD) journeys, tailoring coaching plans to each school and teacher
  • Coach teachers in real classrooms through observations, live modeling, and feedback cycles
  • Help shift instruction toward thinking classrooms, where students actively reason, explore, and engage deeply with math
  • Drive measurable impact - from teacher confidence to student engagement and conceptual understanding
  • Lead hands-on, math-focused PD sessions and workshops rooted in real classroom practice
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to educators, supporting them through challenges and growth
  • Build a strong community of math educators across your region
  • Travel 30-50% of your time to schools and districts

You Have
  • A strong training in math and teaching. Great if you have experience as a math teacher in elementary school.
  • A passion to bring cutting-edge research into the classroom and positively impact students and teachers.
  • Expertise in creating meaningful relationships and generating opportunities with district-level administrators, or equivalent.
  • A knack for speaking and connecting with teachers. Educator-to-educator communication skills are fundamental for thriving in this role.
  • A hands-on approach to your work, understanding that our mission requires a lot of building from scratch.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset capable of thinking outside the box and excited about the challenges of an early stage.
  • An appetite to travel and visit schools and classrooms in your region.

What We Offer You
  • Compensation: $90K - $100K base salary. On Target Earnings $130K (uncapped upside)
  • 401(k): 5% company match
  • Healthcare: Medical, dental, vision - we cover 100% of the premium for you
  • Work alongside top educators, mathematicians, and researchers
  • A high-trust, collaborative culture with real ownership
  • Direct impact on the growth of our U.S. market
  • Cross-functional exposure across Growth, Strategy, Marketing, and Math teams
  • Mission-driven work transforming how students experience math
  • 22+ days of PTO plus an additional week (company-wide holiday shutdown)
  • Regular team events and an annual offsite company retreat

If you are excited by these prospects to build the future of math education together, we would love to meet you!
