An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for professional development and support of classroom teachers and specialists working with students in mathematics. This position facilitates professional learning communities to plan standards-based instruction and assessment, model lessons, and co-teaching. This position assists teachers in effectively utilizing increased instructional time. This position will not have regular classroom responsibilities. The primary purpose of this position is to improve student achievement for all children by working directly with teachers to support their instruction of mathematics.
