Job Summary:
SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer II to work within a multidisciplinary team to define, design, and integrate software capabilities into complicated military systems. The role involves assisting in the development of key features, designing and coding software solutions, and participating in agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of a key feature in the USS-DSW including development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Participate in daily scrums, 2–3 week sprints, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies.
• Work Includes Front and back-end development.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field of concentration in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years experience with C++, Java, Python, Atlassian Tool Suite, Linux.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred:
• Ability to work in fast-paced work environments with deliveries of code every 6 months.
• Able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking.
