Job description

Our learning center is growing, and we're looking for exceptional educators to join our team. If you love the moment a student finally gets it — the essay that clicks, the equation that stops being scary — we'd like to meet you.

These are part-time, after-school roles built to fit around a full-time teaching schedule. No lesson planning marathons, no grading until midnight. You walk in, you teach, you go home.

The Roles

Language Arts Teacher

Teach Advanced Grammar, Critical Reading, and Essay Writing to motivated students who want to get ahead — not just keep up.

Math Teacher

Work with elementary and middle school students on Arithmetic, Algebra, and Problem Solving, building the number sense and confidence that carry them through high school.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a small-group classroom in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Teach from our established, proven curriculum — the planning is already done for you
  • Build genuine, positive relationships with students and their families
  • Document student progress and share grades and evaluations with parents

Who You Are

  • Patient and kind — and also enthusiastic and genuinely fun to learn from
  • A natural multitasker who can keep several students engaged at once without losing the room
  • Coachable — you're open to training and eager to sharpen your craft
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with computers and digital tools

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in teaching or a related educational field
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A natural ability to build rapport with students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in computers
  • Strong leadership presence

Compensation

$25 – $33 per hour, based on experience and certification.
