Job description

Operational Research/System Analyst responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of U.S. Army strategic sustainment operations, with a focus on war plans.

Support military decision making processes by developing models and applying statistical tools and methodologies, optimization, and simulations.

Research and gather information from subject matter experts within the sustainment enterprise to inform analysis and recommendations

Recommend analytical strategies to team leads, supervisors and other decision-makers.

Author documents and presentations to explain findings and make recommendations to executive level leaders. Analyze strategic documents and provide written summaries for senior leaders.

Perform quick-turn analysis and visualization products for senior leaders.

Previous experience at Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Army Materiel Command (AMC) or Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) desired.

Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science or physics is required. Masters in similar subjects is preferred.
