Job Summary:
Altamira Technologies Corporation is a company that provides innovative solutions for the U.S. National Security community. They are seeking a Data Scientist responsible for data science and data characterization technologies, evaluating technology development, and communicating results to senior management.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall data science and data characterization technologies and will report to the on-site program manager.
• Assess technology development and evaluate its operational usefulness and eventually demonstrate the technology capability through test and evaluation.
• Results must be documented in writing and communicated both verbally and through multi-media methods to senior management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Knowledge of Defense intelligence all source analysis, Operations research / systems engineering and analysis Intelligence community databases and tools, non-Defense intelligence analysis, structured analytic techniques, and text exploitation and analytics
• Expertise in advanced tools such as: Mixed Mathematical Capabilities: R Software w/extensive variety of modules (plugins - statistics, modeling, visualization), Text Analytics - IN-SPIRE, Jigsaw, Text/Data - Net Owl, Gate, and Mathematics Modeling - MATLAB.
• A working knowledge with day-to-day data analysis tools are also necessary, Spreadsheet / Data - Excel s/Power plugins, Tableau, and Document Development-Word, MS Publisher.
• 5-10 years of experience or an advanced degree MS / Ph.D.
• Three years of experience in the intelligence community.
• TS/SCI with FSP clearance
Preferred:
• An understanding and experience with visual and geospatial analysis is an added benefit for the senior data scientist
