Description
The Departments of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) are jointly recruiting a Transplant Hepatologist to work with our transplant team of surgeons and partner hepatologists:
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient centered care
- Focus on end-stage organ disease management across the entire continuum of patient care, including pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant.
- Effectively partner with hepatologists and gastroenterologists within the institution and in the region.
- Participate in quality improvement processes of the program and work with the team to ensure regulatory compliance
Candidates for this position/appointment should be at a level commensurate with promotion to the Associate Professor level. In addition, applicants must be:
- Board-certified or Board Eligible in Transplant Hepatology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York.

Qualifications
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Transplant Hepatology
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
