Your Opportunity as a Finance Intern
As an intern within our Finance and Accounting organization, responsibilities will vary based on the department and role within Finance. We have internship opportunities in Financial Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Accounting, Internal Audit, Plant Finance Services, Tax, Treasury, Payment Services, Payroll and Strategic Business Areas (including Coffee, Frozen Handheld & Spreads, Pet, Sweet Baked Snacks, and Away From Home.)
Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
In this role you will:
  • Receive personalized training and may assist with responsibilities including reporting and reconciliation processes, analyzing results to explain performance drivers, supporting forecasting and budgeting, collaborating cross-functionally, streamlining processes using data tools, and translating analysis into actionable insights for decision-makers.

  • Contribute meaningful work alongside analysts, managers, directors, and executives.

  • Develop an overall understanding of corporate finance.

  • Have the opportunity to take on flow to the work assignments across a variety of finance departments.

  • A Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in school with requisite educational experience in accounting, finance, actuarial science, analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics or another relevant field

  • A well-rounded skill set including strong time-management, attention to detail, written and oral communication, teamwork skills, as well as a proficiency in MS Excel.
