Job description

Are you a math expert looking to help students in the Round Rock area succeed? At Huntington Learning Center, we provide year-round support to students who need help catching up or getting ahead in their math coursework. We are seeking a dedicated Math Tutor who can make complex concepts simple for high school students.

  • Flexible Evenings: Perfect for professionals or grad students looking for supplemental income. Shifts are typically available Monday-Thursday (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM) and Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction in Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus.

  • Build student confidence by breaking down math problems into manageable steps.

  • Keep detailed notes on student progress during the session (training provided).

Requirements:

  • 4-Year College Degree is required. (Teaching certification is not required).

  • Strong proficiency in High School Math (up to Calculus preferred).

  • Must be local to the Round Rock/North Austin area.

  • Availability to work at least 2 evenings per week.

Pay: Starting at $20.00-$22.00 per hour (Based on proficiency and subject levels).
