What You'll Do:

As a Math Tutor, you’ll create a fun, engaging learning environment while working with up to four students at a time in our after-school program. Using the Mathnasium Method™, you’ll help students build confidence, master concepts, and develop a genuine love for math.

  • Deliver personalized math instruction for students (1st Grade through Algebra II), with opportunities to specialize as a Geometry, or Calculus Tutor
  • Track and document student progress to ensure personalized learning outcomes
  • Become proficient with Mathnasium’s proven curriculum and methodology through our comprehensive paid training program
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
  • Assist in non-teaching tasks, which may include cleaning, administrative assistance, or other duties as assigned

You'll Be A Great Fit If You:

  • Have strong math skills through at least Algebra I (Algebra II and/or Geometry are preferred, Calculus is a plus)
  • Are an excellent communicator who connects well with students
  • Are eager to learn, grow, and bring positive energy to every session
  • Can work at least two weekday afternoons (3-4 hours each) for after-school tutoring, with the option of a 3-hour shift on Saturday mornings

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business owners and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
