OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Fox Corporation
Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world's leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director, Audience & Content Analytics will establish a comprehensive understanding of how audiences discover, consume, and engage with content across FOX One. This individual will translate viewing behavior and audience data into actionable recommendations that improve programming decisions, content investment, content promotion, personalization, and the overall customer experience. The role will also grow a team of analytics managers and provide dotted-line leadership for Ad Performance reporting and analytics.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Programming and Performance
  • Lead analytics supporting FOX One's content engagement strategy across Fox Sports, News, Entertainment, and Local TV programming, evaluating performance and valuation using reach, engagement, retention, acquisition, and monetization metrics.
  • Assess the incremental impact of individual titles, franchises, sports events, networks, and content categories, and partner with Content Strategy teams on promotion, investment decisions, and opportunity sizing.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of homepage placement, featured content, collections, rails, recommendations, and notifications, developing insights that improve content discovery, reduce time to view, and boost repeat engagement.

Audience and Engagement Strategy
  • Build behavioral audience segments based on content preferences, viewing frequency, intensity, platform usage, and cross-network consumption, identifying high-value, emerging, lapsing, and at-risk groups.
  • Translate audience segments into actionable strategies for programming, personalization, promotion, product development, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Analyze customer journeys from discovery through sustained engagement, identifying opportunities to grow viewing frequency, minutes viewed, and content breadth across categories, platforms, devices, and cohorts.
  • Leverage third-party research tools like Nielsen and Antenna to build a clear understanding of FOX One's audience profile, including how demographic composition varies by content category, network, daypart, platform, and viewing environment.

Measurement and Reporting
  • Establish a comprehensive content and audience measurement framework, defining and standardizing KPIs related to reach, engagement, discovery, audience health, retention, and content value.
  • Oversee executive dashboards, recurring reporting, and strategic analyses that deliver clear recommendations and business implications, not just performance results.
  • Partner with BI Engineering and Data Platform teams to improve engagement event data quality, measurement capabilities, and audience datasets, promoting consistent metric definitions and governance.

Ad Performance Analytics
  • Provide strategic direction for Ad Performance reporting, connecting advertising performance with content consumption, audience composition, and engagement trends.
  • Partner with Monetization and Ad Operations to align reporting priorities and identify opportunities to improve measurement of ad-supported viewing and monetization value.

Team and Organizational Leadership
  • Manage, coach, and develop two Analytics Managers, setting priorities and standards for analytical quality, business impact, and executive communication.
  • Build strong relationships across Content, Product, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Monetization, and Data Platform teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders through clear, concise, and compelling data-driven narratives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics, business, media, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically, 10+ years experience in content or audience analytics within digital media, streaming, television, or subscription services, including experience leading and developing analytical talent.
  • Strong understanding of content performance, audience behavior, and engagement/retention measurement, with experience developing content valuation methodologies tied to business outcomes.
  • Experience with experimentation, promotional measurement, merchandising analytics, or recommendation performance.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with large, complex audience-level datasets, along with BI/visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, audience segmentation, predictive modeling, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong executive communication and data-storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
  • Experience with subscription streaming services or ad-supported streaming analytics.
  • Deep knowledge of sports and/or news content - a strong understanding of NFL and MLB audiences, viewership patterns, and programming dynamics is a big plus.
