Labor & Delivery

  • 3 - 12 hour shifts/week (1800-0630)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our maternity services team at a leading hospital facility in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about supporting mothers and families through childbirth while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. The L&D RN provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams to ensure safe, positive birth experiences in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management therapies (including epidurals)
  • Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Provide continuous patient support, education, and emotional care
  • Operate and manage fetal monitoring equipment and other clinical tools
  • Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition
