Receptionist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Lloydminster, AB/SK

Position Type: Full-Time, Maternity Leave Coverage (Approximately 18 Months)

Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Wednesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: Training to begin approximately August 10


About Our Client

Our client is a busy, well-established healthcare clinic committed to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service. They are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join their team to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 18 months.


Position Summary

As the first and last point of contact for patients, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the clinic. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can confidently manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Process insurance claims and patient payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Perform general administrative and office duties as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Support the daily operations of a busy medical clinic


Qualifications

  • Previous reception, administrative, or customer service experience is considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
