Position Summary

This role combines sales, estimating, and project management into one accountable position. From the first customer conversation through final project closeout, this individual owns the process. The ideal candidate understands construction, communicates confidently with customers, prices work accurately, and ensures a clean handoff and follow-through during production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and manage sales opportunities from lead to close
  • Meet with customers, review scope, and develop project solutions
  • Read plans, specifications, and perform accurate material takeoffs
  • Prepare estimates and proposals using Excel-based systems
  • Price work accurately and competitively while protecting company margins
  • Manage awarded projects from sale through completion
  • Coordinate internally with production, fabrication, and field leadership
  • Prepare detailed project turnover packages for crews
  • Handle change orders, scope clarifications, and customer communication
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Required Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods
  • Proven ability to sell, estimate, and manage projects
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs (or willingness to learn quickly)
